What are your opening hours and when can I drop my dogs off?

Daycare opening hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday.

Overnight boarding, drop-off and collection times are between 9:30am and 1pm or 2:30pm till 5 pm

What do I need to bring with me?

A copy of vaccination records. If you haven’t emailed it already.

Any feeding notes or medical notes that are applicable to your pets stay.

Do you provide food or do we need to bring your own?

Most clients bring their own food, as a change in diet, can often cause tummy upsets.

We can feed our own food, we have tinned food and some dry food available.

Do I need to bring my pets bowls?

We provide all feed and water bowls, you will only need to bring your own bowl. If it’s a slow feeder or your dog is fussy about certain materials, i.e. only likes ceramic bowls and not metal.

Do I need to bring bedding?

We provide all bedding and beds themselves, in winter. We always try to provide our own bedding as when the fields of muddy. It’s very difficult to wash Owner’s bedding. Every day we have to washroom is here, and we replenish the bedding every day with our own.

Are you happy to administer medication?

We are happy to administer routine medication or supplements. We are unable to look after pets with life-threatening conditions, such as diabetes or epilepsy.

Do you have an age limit on pets that stay with you?

We don’t have a specific age limit, but pets must be fit and well. If we feel that your pet may not cope in a kennel environment due to age or temperament we will, of course be very clear about this.

Can I have my pet groomed whilst they stay with you?

We have a full-time groomer on site, but this needs to be booked at least four weeks, sometimes six weeks in advance prior to the commencement of your booking.

Can we drop our pets off earlier than your specified times?

This can be arranged by prior permission from the owner, but may not always be possible.

How far in advance do you need to book for boarding?

At peak times we have bookings nine months to 12 months in advance. If you haven’t booked for July and August summer holidays by around March time it may be difficult to accommodate your booking. Easter, Christmas and October school holidays also book up way in advance.

What does my pet need to be vaccinated for and are there any additional vaccines that are required for boarding?

We require dog and cat vaccinations to be up-to-date as per veterinary recommendation. There are no additional vaccinations that are required for boarding.

Kennel cough vaccination is not insisted upon. If you do wish to for your pets to be vaccinated against kennel cough, this must be done six weeks prior to the commencement of your booking.

Do you need a deposit for boarding?

We operate an online booking system, when placing a booking you may be asked for either a 50% deposit or 100% payment in advance. This is especially important at peak times.

Does my dog need to be neutered?

Your dog doesn’t need to be neutered to stay with us, but we will ask specific details about your dogs behaviour and when their last season was so we can make sure that they are suitable to be exercised in our groups.

Can you look after dogs that aren’t sociable?

Yes, we can, and we have many pets that prefer to be walked on their own

Do you operate daycare at weekends?

Daycare is only Monday to Saturday 7:30 to 5:30. We do not operate daycare on Sundays.
